The Drunken Amigos

Yo Yo boys,

Well boys, here I am in the T-Dot.
It's quite different here when compared to Vancouver.. in fact there is a lot more structure, lack of mountains and scenery, lack of water and a whole lot of traffic.. but nothign too extreme when compared to asia.

i've been warned about people in TO and how they are pompus pricks.. (well that is my own interpretation).. everyone here likes to keep to themselves and not only that they sorta put up walls i guess and are a little more snobbish?

I arrived yesterday night and basicaly did nothing.. today i woke up at 1pm (i blame the jetlag) and just sat at home, watched some playoff football with ken and then after that went out for dinner for some chic's bday and then to a bar after.

its rather pointless for me to go to a bar since i am on a non-alcohol 60 day detox mode.. we'll see how long that lasts cuz i have been tempted several times already but i am so strong minded that i just won't fall that easily.. altho it may all change as the days approach.

i don't have any pics of TO yet but i'l be roaming around and taking pics..

my purpose here? look for a job, get my thesis all done and if the job thing doesn't happen.. i hope i am nearly completed my thesis.. and then i can just head back to van and hopefully find something there.. either way, we shall see what happens.

i bought a one way ticket to TO so i consider this as an extended vacation.. so we'll see what hapoens so wish me luck boys..


oh, i'd also like to congratulate don for his new job as some developmetn database somethign business manager or something like that, either way its a good start for him in the new year and i hope everyone else's starts off just as well..


oh , i hear ther eis this liquore store that has more than 300 different kinds of beer.. i'll definately be taking pics of that placce.. its my heaven on earth.
